Please note: This is our most recent Fertility Calculator providing a guide to your chances of pregnancy without treatment based on a study of 726 couples in the peninsula of Walcheren in the Netherlands during 9,915 months of untreated observation.

In addition we have an earlier fertility calculator based on a larger group of patients, but as they were presenting to tertiary care centres they may not represent a typical population.

Both calculators provide a cumulative chance of pregnancy over 3 years and a link to the original papers on the Internet.  It is important to recognise this is only a guide to fertility and there may be individual factors that will alter your prognosis.  For instance if there are no sperm seen on testing the chances of pregnancy will be severely reduced, and in women from the late 30s there will be a significant decline in fertility.
