Morning all, not sure if this is OK but I hope so!

I enjoyed chatting so much to many lovely people on this site throughout my treatment and pregnancy that I thought maybe we could continue our support (and chatting ) as new parents.

I'm sure this will be a drop in when we have time, but I would find it invaluable to be able to post here, even if to reassure myself that Frankie is doing what other babies do!

What do you think?  If it's not appropriate then admins I won't be offended if you remove

Anna - not sure I approve of you setting up a new thread

Don't be daft - we only delete them if they are offensive!

However you might be interested to know there is already a thread running for new parents with babies - it called Baby Babble http://www.repromed.co.uk/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=3018& ;PN=1

General chit chat about what the little ons get up to. Don't go down the route of comparing Frankie to other babies though. By all means boast about what she is doing - other than eating sleeping and pooing! - but don't get hung up if other babies of similar age are doing things she's not.

Having said that though it is very hard not to compare. I have a friend whose baby (her first) is 2 days older than Sophie, was equally premature and has been speaking words very clearly for months. The only words Sophie says with any clarity are shut up and go away! (Thank you Scott ). I have to remind myself that Sophie has two older brothers who speak for her and unlike he rlittle friend she doesn't go to nursery so isn't surrounded by lots of children four days a week.

I can't believe it's a month ago that you had Frankie...

Thanks Bec

I think I overlloked that thread as no-one had posted on it for a while.  Will go and post, see what happens!

By the way, I think 'shut up' and 'go away' could be very useful phrases for Sophie later on
