Hi all,

I am sorry that I have not messaged recently. I think I have been trying to forget that I am on the 2ww. As if that is possible really!

Hi Evie, congrats on being PUPO and good luck.

Daisy and Emsie, hope the embies are continuing to grow well and good luck for ET.

Nomading, I know that it must be diffiuclt to have the implantation bleeding at the same time again but just because you have not had the best end result before does not mean that you won't this time. I am thinking of you.

AFM, well I am in the 2nd week of the 2ww and not really had any symptoms. My tummy feels strange and bloated and have had a few cramps but other than that nothing. Not sure if this is good or bad?!

Hugs to all x x

Hi Ginger

Good to hear you are doing well.  I am having similar feelings to you... feel constantly full even when I haven't eaten and a few twinges. I would descirbe my tummy as odd. I believe that the odd cramps can be positive and negative.  There are so many women who cramp and get BFP and the so many who get BFN... who can tell but lets hope it's good news for you and me.

I spoke to clinic this morning.  The nurse on call was lovely - she spoke to the IVF doctor on call who has doubled my cyclogest (now 4 a day - i am so thrilled NOT) and I had to get my prescription of folic acid 5mg made up and started today rather than after a +HPT.  It really does feel like Ground Hog day at the moment!  I am grateful for the clinic changing my medication as the last two times, they told me there was nothing they could do but I think the nurse this morning understood my despair.  The bleeding is very light and is brown but is there (had one bit of red blood last night).  Least with a change and the continued use of the cyclogest for 12 weeks if we get a BFP, I can feel if nothing else, I did my all.  Unfortunately, DH and I are going to remain negative even if we get a BFP so we don't get on the roller coaster for the 3rd time. (self perservation I think -  our glass was half full the last two times and now it is definitely half empty!)

Hope things are going well Emsie and Daisy - good luck for ET.

N xx

Hi Ladies,

Welcome Evie to the board, good luck on your 2WW and congrats on getting to blasts.

Nomading & Ginger... I'm only starting the next stage of this journey, so can only imagine what it feels like when you become sensitive to every twitch and twinge but as MM said we are all here for you and even when your feeling down, were here to build you back up again with lots of love and positive energy.

Good luck on holding out for blasts MM..hope you get some top grade embies transfered on tuesday.

AFM: we got 2 good blasts put back today, had a major discussion with embryologist as she wanted me to do a SET. Out of our 7 embies two had arrested, and three are a day behind in development, so although we hoped for some to freeze, we ended up with what we prayed for 2 good blasts.

A slight concern was my bladder wasn't sufficently full, so Dr had difficulty finding my uterus, so as normal ...i got anxious and was convinced they hadn't but them back into my uterus and that they had dropped my embies on the floor...i'm normally very level headed but this tx has slower but surely turned me into a nutter.

Finally I'm PUPO...and on the 2WW. Feeling alot more positive and -praying for a BFP followed by a healthy and successful pregnancy.

lots of love

Daisy.xxx

Hi Girlies

Brilliant news Daisy on being PUPO - I have a good feeling with for you with two blasties on board.  Here's to an uneventful 2ww for you and a BFP in a couple of weeks.

Hope Ginger and Emsie are OK and all the best for tomorrow Millie if you read this board.  My fingers are so tightly crossed for you.

And so my roller coaster begins....

I have been very naughty and tested this morning... (OTD Thursday) and have another BFP!!  I can't believe that with 3 cycles I have achieved 3 BFPs but it's now whether I manage to keep it as I haven't in the past.  This is the earliest I have tested and got a strong BFP rather than a faint line. (I'm going to see Superdrug's profits soar as they have BOGOF offer on a famous early response brand with me buying stacks and stacks!) I have stopped bleeding but who wouln't using 4 pessaries a day..... and have started my high dose of folic acid but still feel a mix of emotions.  Three miscarriages in a row from 3 ICSIs would be just too unfair so I hope and pray this time, things can be different.

I have rung the hospital and am waiting for NN to call back with some advice.  I just want to be sure there is nothing else I should be doing to help these embies/embie along to stick.

Love to all

N xxx

Hi Millie

Thank you but I am very apprehensive.  Yes I am taking aspirin, have been since started the norethistherone.  Feel like I have thrown everything I can at this cycle.

Hope your blood test went well. They certainly look after you well there and we will definitely be there one day if this one is unsucessful again.

I'm off to a friends for coffee now who doesn't know we're doing this.  Feeling sick today and have to buy cake today to take and I really don't know if I can stomach anything!!!

N xx

Nomading,

Congratulations - fantastic news . As they say third time lucky and you are doing so many extra things this time so here's hoping this one is a sticky one.

I am so tempted but too scared to test early so am going to keep going if possible.

x

Nomading that is the most fantastic news, I am so happy for you!!!  Congratulations!!!!  Has it sunk in yet?  How did your friends go with the cake!?

Ginger totally understand how you feel.  The 2 WW is so hard and sometimes the easiest thing to do is try and forget about it, not always that easy!  Ive arranged something every day until my HPT day to keep myself busy!!!  Ive been tempted to test early with all of mine but always managed to hold off......its so hard!!!!  Good luck if you do!

Daisy congratulations on getting 2 blasts and being PUPO.  Well done!!!  Sorry that all your little onese arrested. Ours did too, and I wasnt expecting it at all as we has 12 fertilised so Im quite upset about it.  This is our last go so I guess I was hoping for some back up!  Its all down to these little onese now........roll on next Thursday!!!

Hope everyone else is ok and good luck!!!

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
