Morning everyone,
So I had EC yesterday and they got 17 eggs. Ive been in quite a lot of pain since and dont remember it being that painful last time.....maybe Im older and weaker! DH has had to go to work today so its gonna be a day of bribary for my little girl to be good.....Im really worried about OHSS as clinic said I was high risk, I cant imagine how gutted I would be to get to this stage and then not be able to have a fresh ET. But Im gonna think positive....hopefully in a couple of days I will be joining you Ginger and Nomading on the dreadful 2 week wait!!!!
How are you both feeling? Any signs or symptoms yet? Prob a bit too early!!! I knew that I was preggers with all 4 of mine as I seem to hit about day 8 and feel sick and get very light headed!!! I cant wait actually...............OHHHHH please let this work!!!
Hope your EC went well Daisy, Im sure with all those follies you will have lots and lots of eggs too!! Have it all crossed for you!!!
So I talked to the clinic yesterday about blasts, they said I could actually have 2 put back, which I though most clinics were opposed to...well Im v happy, If I can get 2 blasts then Ide def have 2 put back......just waiting for the 9am call now to see how many have fertilized!!!
Lots of love xxxx

Hi Girls,
Emsie: Sorry to hear that you are in pain, but well done - a bumper crop of eggs - here's to lots of lovely embies. I too had an extraordinary amount of pain after 2nd egg collection compared to the other two and really thought that I would have to have my embies frozen as I could barely walk to the bathroom on the two days after collection. However, I took paracetamol with codiene (as paracetamol didn't even take the edge off the pain) from the ivf doctor on call advice and recovered so well by the third day I didn't even need another paracetamol so you may improve quickly. I asked the clinic this time why it was so painful and was told 1 in 10 women suffer badly and obviously in was my time. Good luck and here's to a speedy recovery.
Ginger - I assume the spotting on day 8 was implantation bleeding but it always continues until I complete my pessaries, get my positive test and then get the witch. Am really hoping it doesn't happen this time as it makes me feel really negative about a positive outcome. I haven't got many symptoms and the ones I do have are related to the wonderful cyclogest.

Hiya All,
Had EC yesterday, they collected 13 eggs. should have had more but had a coughing fit while under sedation so Dr decided it was best to stop. I was more than happy with the 13. Got a call today from clinic, 12 were viable and 8 fertilized, which they told me was a good amount. They have me booked in for ET on Friday, but if they get to blasts then will have ET Sunday.
Glad its all going well, but hope that if I get to blasts they let me put 2 back in as I want to maximise our chances, and as far as I'm aware, this gives us the optimum stats for a successful pregnancy.
Good luck ladies with your EC and ET this week, great news emsie on your eggs, hope you get a good fertilization number.
Daisy. xxx

Hiya,
Well I went in this morning to see Dr about OHSS. DH didnt come as had to work, something we argued big time about last night!!!!
Dr gave go ahead and was then told that ET would be today. I went into panic mode as I was on my own and DH couldnt get there in time...but I was very brave and we now have 2 top grade embies on board. They decided to do it today as the others are not doing as well and didnt want to risk these ones I guess. But Im very happy. Still have a bit of discomfort but I cant now chill out for the weekend!!
Nomading, I love it at Bath. I almost feel like its a little family and it has been the same staff there since I started 3 years ago. I like it too as its quite small and quite personal, and its nice as I know most of the staff there and they know me.....I really would recomend a visit if you are thinking of changing clinics. Its also great for me as its local to me too, so easy to pop in for drugs or scans etc....
so heres to my 2 weeks wait....well 1 week and six days!!!
stacked up on the pineapple juice and brazil nuts.....god please let this work!!!
Hope you are all well xxxxx

Emsie,
Congrats on being PUPO, 2 top grade embies, that fantastic. . Wishing you all the best over your 2ww.
looking forward to hearing about your BFP.
AFM: got call from clinic today, 7 out of 8 still going strong, the other embi arrested. ET now planned for Sunay, where hoping to have 2 blasts put back.
Relax and take it easy, you now have precious cargo on board.
lots of love
Daisy.

Hi Girls
Great news Emsie and Daisy. Here's to you 2ww Emsie being a happy and not too drawn out process.... and Daisy, keeping everything crossed for Sunday.
AFM : I have started spotting again. Exactly the same day (8dpt) at about 5pm again!!! as my last 2 ICSIs and I feel really 'full and bloated'. GUTTED. I know there is a chance but it's slim as both times I've had this, I've gone on to have a +HPT followed by miscarriage and chem preg. I know there is a chance this could be different but I just fear not. I know my body. It feels like Groundhog day!! We were meant to be spending a quiet weekend at MIL but we have cancelled as I can't be chipper. She was here last time I started the miscarriage and had a face like a slapped arse! I don't want to put her through that misery again .
Anyhow, DH has gone out for takeout as the thought of cooking doesn't inspire me!

Hi everyone
I have been reading the forums for a couple of weeks now and you all sound so lovely and supportive. On Wednesday we had 1 blastacyst put back in with 3 left to freeze ,so we're now on the 2ww, i feel so nerves as this time last year i had an eptopic which exploded causing alot of pain and panic resulting in my right tube being removed my left is damaged but the dye will pass through so when starting treatment they decided not to clip it. I,m so worried this will happen again ,any twing i get in my side results in my mind thinking the blastacyst is implanting in the wrong place. Trying really hard to remain positive ,any advice would be much appreciated
Best wishes to you all Evie xx

Oh Nomading Im so sorry....sh*te sh*te sh*te!!!! OK, Dont panic.....I know u say you have been there before but what you were feeling, ie the bloating etc was the pregnancy working, and the bleeding is the implantation bleeding, which is why u got the BFP each time......the fact that you got pregnant is the main thing and Im sure if the spotting was anything to do with the miscarriage you would bleed a lot more! After my ET today I went straight into the next wing of the hospital as my sister was in there. She is 6 weeks pregnant and started spotting and the heartbeat was there and the baby was fine....I had bleeding with my little girl and it turned out fine....I really recon the bleeding is impanation and nothing to do with the miscarriage...................BE POSITIVE.......Im sending you a million million and thinking lost of positive thoughts for you.......we are all here if you need us xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Daisy, great news that you have 7 doing well....how great to be able to have 2 blasts put back, Ive got it all crossed for you huni....fingers fingers crossed!!!!!!! xxxxx
Hi Evie, and welcome.....everyone on here is great and you will get so much support, well done for getting to the 2 week wait!!! Great that you got to blastocyst stage, well done!!! Its understandable that you are going to be worried, I was exactly the same in my last two cycles but you cant control it and your better of just thinking positive thoughts and try not to worry, easier said than done I know!!! When do u test????
happy weekend everyone xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx PMA PMA PMA xxxxxx
