Hi
A couple of years ago we discussed with Bristol their egg donation programme. If my memory serves me right they had taken the ethical stance that donors should be completely anonymous. I don't think they even did donations from close relatives. This meant they had an extremely long waiting list. The CARE fertility clinics appeared more proactive and would help if you had found a donor. Most other clinics give you advice on how to find your own donor as it helps cut down on your waiting time and you get all the eggs from the donor you have found yourself.
I personally found a woman through a web site who offered to donate for us. We chatted via email but never met. She lived in the North of England and went to the Glasgow CRM for us even though we live in Bristol. Glasgow has better success rates than Bristol and we got lucky and had twins, a boy and girl.
