I've just read a smashing book that my mate got my for Christmas - Jordan, Pushed to the Limit!   I've read all her biographies so far!  Wow she's done 3 and she's only my age!   I might read Pete's next!

I love reading, usually biographies or real life stories of poverty and squalor.  I'm such a happy soul!

Ah evening gorgeous girlies, I just wanted to say i'm sooooo with you all on the done with tx thing.  I love to pop in and check how all my old friends are doing but haven't posted for an age.

I feel kind of at peace, wine is my NBF .  Its so nice to "live" my life, eat what i want, drink what i want, given up on the vits for now although don't i regret that!  Been proper poorly with bug after bug, some of it feels like i've been punishing myself, geting all the badness out of my system but now i just feel calm.  We're on countdown mode till our big holiday, only 18 sleeps to go and dead excited cos "our" plane, (Mum keeps saying oooh look theres T&D's plane) is being advertised on the tele, we're supposed to be on the new Qantas A380.  I can't wait to feel warm sun on my face, sand in my toes and sea air in my hair.  But i can wait to climb the Sydney Harbour Bridge , its one of those, you're there you have to do it things but do i really have to?

So this year is the year to live and do things that i've let pass me by for the last 3 years.  I've even booked a stripper for my SIL's hen night.  Oh the shame, i felt dirty even ringing the company. My friend was asking all sorts of questions, what does he come dressed as, where is he from, what does he do????  My god i don't know i just know how much its costing, he lasts for 20 minutes and, in the words of the classy lady on the phone, he only gets his "wanger" out at the very end . So this year ladies is the year I live .

Wherever you are in your travels on this bumpy road i send you lots of love and hugs xxxxxxxxx

Tix hon, hope your dad is ok and gets well soon xxx

Jo still waving my pom poms for you xxx

Lusher, Pix, Jeni, Scouser and anyone else i've missed, i have missed you all, maybe one day we'll all be back on a tx/other thread somewhere someday.

xxxxxx

Foxy, great to hear from you  The bridge climb is fab, DH and me did it as part of our christmas pressies from parents on Christmas Eve, DH doesn't like heights and was fine. Make sure you get yourself over to Manly, where else are you going in Oz?? I'm glad that you're doing well, as you can see DH and I are still going on the tx front, I'm determined to lead the way (well after Jo) and get some of us over to the other side

Tix, hope you're Dad is doing ok this evening.

Now what is going on, there we were being all adult and responsible talking about Anne Frank, how did we move onto Jordan????

Has anyone decided on our first book to review??

Feel very tired tonight, not sure why, eating well, getting my sleep, off the vino, think I'm going to climb into my bed soon, will finish off my book perhaps.

Have a good evening, love Lusherxxx

Ok then so what I'll do is set up a book club thread and also a poll - I'll suggest a few books and we can vote on what we want to read.  Thereafter we can pick a book a month each in order of who signs up to the thread first.  No airport novels or chicklit please but I suppose the whole point is that you read stuff you wouldn't normally so other than that I suppose it's open forum!

Will probably not get on now till tomorrow so watch the chat forum for news!
