Quick post as have conference call in a bit

Jo, I'm reading a Sophie Hannah book at the moment, Hurting Distance, her books are crime/thrillers. Have ordered, another of her books and the 19th wife, is one of Richard & Judy's 2009 book club selection.

Sian, I would suggest the same as Jo re checking FSH and ovarian reserve, once you've got the results it will probably give you a better picture to allow you to decide whether to get a 2nd opinion.

Right better get back to it!

Lusherxxxx

poor dad has an endoscopy this afternoon, its awful not being able to see him but it was reassuring to chat to him. once he has had the scope he should be able to come home in the next few days.....just want to give him a hug.

I have been on the treadmill this morning and now have to do some study, i have a mandatory training day on thursday so have to do lots of on-line work......so tediuos! no doubt i will be on here most of the time!

Anyone seen Inkheart yet? its so cute.

i need to get back into reading....How many books do you get through a week Jo??

I've got a new years resolution to read more books.  Why don't we start a book group on here?  We can pick a book a month and if we all read it we can then have an online chat about it!  Altho most real book groups seem to involve wine and nibbles, so we might have to pick a night and all be on standby with our bottle of pink and a tube of pringles!!!!!

oooh that was a big space after your post tix!  Hmmm not sure what to advise re dad, go with your heart.  If you think he'll be ok without you then don't go, but if you're going to spend your time worrying here then you should go.

I read tons of books, usually between 2 and 3 a week. I can't go to sleep without reading for 45 mins in bed.  yeah a book group sounds great, and book recommendations too.  Loving the idea of pink fizz & pringles, you're a classy bird Ruth!!! I haven't read any of Sophie Hannah's Lusher/Hob Nob, is she any good?  I read all sorts, from biographies, travel writing, some horror & crime to chicklit. From DH Lawrence to Jackie Collins, I swear!!!  My taste is all encompassing to say the least!

Anyway just got back from combat and knackered so off to have lunch xxxxxxxxxxx

I'm strictly a contemporary fiction girl myself!  We could just piggy back off Richard and Judy's selections, or books that are nominated for prizes, or take it in turns!  3 books a week is good going, I don't read in bed so need to get some books downstairs for sofa reading!

Tix don't go hon - he'll be fine and 7 hours is such a long journey if you have to come back Thursday.  How about a longer trip next week or sometime soon?

p.s. my top tip for the motorway is to set off after tea - depends if you can handle getting there at 2 in the morning!!!!!

Jo,

I'm so jealous... I used to love fight class (same as combat i think) I bust my knee doing it about 18 months ago and haven't been able to do it since. Had an xray on my knee today, so hopefully will get it sorted soon so I can do it again.

Joob x
